March is National Reading Month,
and to celebrate Read Across America,
The Neillsville Public Library will be hosting a SILENT READING PARTY for Adults!

Come to the library, and get a hot drink and a snack. Find a comfortable spot in the library to read silently (together) for one hour! Wednesday, March 12th at 6 pm.
Bring the book of your choice or find one on our shelves and read for one hour silently with your fellow library patrons! This event will begin
with refreshments, then an hour of reading,
and end with small, quiet discussions about
your reading experience. We look forward
to “reading” with you!

The timeline for the evening will be as follows:
6 PM– Refreshments, find your spot
and/or book
6:30-7:30 PM–Silent reading
(as quietly as you can)
7:30 PM—Wrap up, short individual
discussions and feel refreshed
from mindful quietness
(If a parent can guarantee non-disruption, parents can also choose to bring school-age children for silent reading. Please be mindful of the rest of the group wanting a quiet space for reading.)
